2012

I made this using a LOTV ready coloured die cut square and Dovecraft papers. The sentiment sits on a Spellbinders banner die cut and is also by LOTV. The poinsettia is cut and embossed with Marianne design dies.

Thank you for looking.

What a beautiful card! I really like how you've decorated it. I've found a teepee card tutorial on YouTube so that I can have a go at making one. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks ladies. It was a fun card to make. :)
Penny it is like a pyramid and sits on three 'legs'. It folds down fairly flat for posting though this one is so sturdy that it would be better as a decoration and would really need to be sent or given in a box. I found a tutorial in blogland http://thecraftypad.blogspot.com/2011/07/tutorial-how-to-make-teepee-card.html
The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. It makes for a slightly different shape though it does use quite a lot of cardstock.
Hope that helps.

The YouTube tutorials show the card held closed with velcro dots and it folds really flat for posting.

That's lovely. Like the pearly centres of the poinsettas. What did you cut the poinsettas from Edna?

Thank you ladies for the kind comments.

Janet I used Marianne Design dies for the poinsettias. I got them from Cutting Edge crafts. :)
