Hi
Its just occurred to me with Wins launching our five card swap that the Secret Santa thread needs launching this year.
For new members what happens is that you can either let me know on the thread or via PM that you'd like to take part in the swap. I do have quite a few real names and addresses from previous swaps I have organised or taken part in, but if you are new to the forum or think I may have 'lost' your details, can you please PM me your real name and details?
Basically we make either a card or decoration for a designated other forum member and send it direct to them. I leave whether you want to be anonymous to the sender to you. Can I just point out that can you make very sure to put enough postage on the package, as the Post Office can get a bit snitty about insufficient postage. I think that as time is marching on, that we close the list next Sunday and next Monday I will then PM everyone taking part with their swappee's details and you will then have until the end of the second week of December to get your entry off to the recipient. Photos can then start appearing on the forum as soon as you can after they have been received. Can I also suggest that everyone photographs their swaps before sending them, as the Post Office seems to have a knack of losing some post every year.
Think I have covered all the dos and don'ts but the main thing is to have a go and join in and hopefully have some fun.
