Sorry I can't give a direct link, computer says "no"
If you google "do crafts cards for life" though you will get to the information site. Basically, contact your local Cancer Research UK shop and they will provide display bags for A6 size cards which are sold for £1 each. The charity asks that the official display bags are provided but there is no charge.

Hi CC - this is a good idea. I've reached the 2011 page - try this:
http://www.docrafts.com/article/CraftForLife2011/AID582
I expect the 2012 campaign will come along soon, could already be in the stores that stock Do Craft products. How great it would be if we add the number we make on here and keep an unofficial Craft Telly Tally!
Thanks Graham, by the way!:mysmilie_492: we crafters are such happy bunnies! or is this a mouse?

thanks for the link. I was in my local shop last week and handed over 75 cards.
Currently waiting for the new cello bags to arrive in March. I've got some left and they don't have the year printed so can still be used. Best thing about the set up now is that it runs through the year rather that just for a couple of months which is what happened when the campaign started some years back.

That's brilliant Crafty Cat. I have been making cards for this campaign since it started (though I think it was originally Marie Curie) - until last year when for some reason I struggled to find the details of what to do and to get hold of the cello bags. I have donated over 200 cards in total to the Docrafts campaign, but that's spread over several years - I've never managed 75 in one go like CC. Really must get going on this one again.

Yes it was Marie Curie originally. Must admit this is my major charity involvement. Partly as my husband died from bowel and secondary liver cancer. It is frustrating to find out how to get hold of cello bags. I used to have them posted to me at one time from someone at Docrafts but I get a bounce back now with "recipient unknown". I never seem to manage to find my way around the Docrafts site. Irritating to say the least.
Won't stop me making cards for this appeal though!!

Is it for like the Macmillan nurses??? I don't mind helping with that, but if it is for research I don't give to that as they test on animals un it goes against all that I believe in.... sorry

Hi Craftycat and everyone. Despite my best intentions I never got around to making any cards for the Do Crafts although my MIL did. I have a few bags left over so pleased that they can be used for this year. I agree about trying to get hold of the bags, it's a bit frustrating. My nearest Cancer Research shop is now in Beverley which isn't that far away but I don't always have the time on a Saturday to spare to get there. I also agree that their site is frustrating to go around. Their forum was quite bitchy when I had a look at it, but that could have been a one-off at that time due to the topic under discussion.
At least we can get the cards ready. I've did 71 the year before last (ran out of bags...) so would like to make it 100 this year. I'd like to.
