This is a bit difficult to explain, but when I try and do some
things to an image in serif, I get a wide bit in the middle where there is no image. It's like the image has been separated.

This also happens if I use my brush to make a flowered backing sheet. Like I said its hard to explain, but I'll try and do a screen shot thingy. Strangely it doesn't show up when I try and print

Now I've updated my graphics and monitor driver, just in case and now I'm going to uninstall and reinstall serif and see if that helps.

Any advise?

Why not ask on daisytrail. They have people there that can answer problems.

Ahhh never thought of that. But I've never posted on there before. It's like walking into a pub on your own when you don't know anyone.
Is it possible to be an online agoraphobic ?

I took my life in my hands and posted there. They are very nice <img src="http://www.crafttelly.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" smilieid="1" class="inlineimg"><br>

Anyway I have just wasted a 24 hours of my life downloading things I didnt need to download, because all it took was for me to use my scroll bar to take the image off the screen and then bring it back again!!!! <img src="images/smilies/Set1/taphead.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Taphead" smilieid="61" class="inlineimg">

Never mind Comfrey, at least you know where to go for help now. I agree with you, they are very nice there.

Oh well, glad you are sorted. Useful information in case we have the same problem. I have been busy designing backing papers in Serif and have now discovered how to do them in Photoshop as well. I did ask CraftsUprint if I could join them as a designer but they have too many backing papers so will have to work on something else when I have time (ha, ha).
