Fab card from ROC, with lovely subtle coloured backgrounds and a beautifully decoupaged SWALK centrepiece. Lovely flowers on the corners too, just delightful, and yes ROC I reckon that could be us but preferably where you are rather than in the Midlands.

Lovely card from Satincollie, all lilacs and pinks (my favourite colours), layered on glitter card and topped off with a shrink plastic bird cage, really gorgeous Gill.

and last but absolutely not least this beautiful creation which made me fall off the gate I was swinging on when I was waiting for the postman, Pyjama Princess what a wowser, lovely pinks, flowers and butterflies, layered into four squares and an extra stamped image on top, pleated ribbon and highlighted with jewels. Not forgetting the fabulous rosette and hat pins, there is also a lovely stamped insert - just breathtaking.

Thank you to everyone who sent me a card, it was so wonderful sitting in my garden opening them all, I also took the photos there of them and if you see a scrubbing bush in some of the photos that is just typical of me I try very hard to get good pics and then spoil them all by not looking at what I am doing and leave a brush in the background. What an idiot!!! but thanks again xxxxx

Stunning cards - each and everyone of them! Why did I take so long to join a birthday swap?
Thank you for your lovely comments about my card Eyeful. I had a bit of a nightmare with it. Had finished it and noticed 2 very small dots of white on the pink background. Managed to hit them with a colour matching butterfly. Was taking photos before posting it and was horrified to see a white band had appeared at the very top edge of the base card. I must have put a wet wipe to close to the card and it removed the distress ink. So I cut another border die cut and had to use it to hide the damage. Hubby assured me there was no way of knowing if I hadn't have told him - he'd seen the card prior to the wet wipe doing it's worse.

Well you did a good job PP I didn't notice anything and ROC you're right about the uploading but so worth it for others to see the talented crafters we have on here. I am really glad I joined in the swaps as well, this is my first time and it's been such a pleasurable experience.

We are our own worst critics aren't we :) it's lovely!

Eyeful just noticed your comment about the brush - that's so funny, just think it's a bit Tim Holtz...

What a fabulous array of talent, again!

BTW please tell me you didn't get stiffed with any postage??? I lost my cardboard measuring thingy and didn't have the energy or time to get to the main PO so guessed that a large letter stamp would cover it, please say I guessed right???
