Hubby decided he was going to paint the summer house, we only use it for storage and very rarely go in there. I'd forgotten that I'd put my wool etc in there. Funnily enough I thought about it the other day and thought I must have got rid of it.

Any way I found these unfinished things and a couple of items that I'd just started.

A little cardigan with no border, there is some spare wool but I don't know if I can find the pattern. Mind you it won't be hard to do without the pattern but I'd rather have it lol.

These two are the same pattern but different sizes, there is also plenty of wool to finish them. The trouble is I don't know if I'll be able to see if there is any difference in the shades. I've also got to find the pattern for these but I think I know where it it. Typically there are no labels on the yarn that's left!

I've got absolutely no idea why there are two lol. They are both child sizes.

They all need a wash and a press as the must have been there for years.

They look gorgeous. I especially like the coloured cardigan, such pretty colours. Now you go and get them finished, or I will send round the UFO fairy to sort you out. ;)

Must admit I'm pretty good at UFO knitting, I tend to only have one project on the go at a time, perhaps two if I am doing any mini knitting, but that is because I can only do a few rows at a time. Must get the jumper for 'himself' finished as I need to make some of those wee hats for the Big Knit thingie. Have to send at least 20 or 30 as it isn't worth the cost of postage otherwise.

lol Roz and thank you.

I've found the pattern for the blue cardi. Thought I'd found the pattern for the aran ones but the pattern was on the middle page of a booklet and that seems to have fallen out. I'll have to have another look tomorrow.

Can you send me the UFO fairy as well please! One that can do cross stitch as well! This wool pile just doesn't seem to be going down and I've got at least 6 comforters, 2 baby shawls, and a pair of kiddie mitts to finish - and that's the pile I can see! That's on top of the aran jumper and meerkat jumper I'm doing for Christmas! Also beloved cousin wants a knitted elephant for her birthday next month!

Hi Waterlily,

The cream arran cardi looks like either a Woolsworth Pattern Booklet, Littlewoods, or possibly Harmony. These three usually had the same sort of patterns that could be found in any one of them.

If it is a Littlewoods arran, it was usually under the brand name of 'Keynote Arran'.

If you look on Etsy you may be lucky in finding this pattern, as I have done with success in the past, though it could take a bit of searching.
Hope this helps you.

Serena.

Hi Serena

Thanks for the reply.

I've actually got the booklet, it's a Sirdar one, it was just the middle page that was missing (the one I wanted lol). I managed to find the page this morning but the booklet is also on ebay.

I've got no idea how old the booklet is (can't find a date anywhere) but I'm sure the pattern I wanted was one I knitted for my son when he was two and he's 32 in December lol.

Thanks again.

Will it still fit him? :)

lol Suban. NO

His girlfriend has got a 6 year old boy so one of them might fit him (if he'll wear it, probably totally out of fashion lol).

Susan my lickle flower the fairy won't actually help, just boss you about a bit - as in get on with it.

Now I didn't say I hadn't a great deal of yarn, just none (other than the jumper) started on. Yarn still wound into its original ball does not count as a UFO, thank goodness as I have loads of the stuff.

I've managed 102 of the 120 rows up the beginning of the armhole shaping on the first sleeve. Might get to row 110 tomorrow, probably won't get any further as this cross stitched Christmas heart ornament is getting to an exciting stage now. Well it looks exciting to me anyhow. ;)

Managed about six rows today, plus a bit more on the heart cross stitch thingie. Considering it was a lot cooler I dunno why not a lot was done, put it down to me being an idle sod! However, I did put half a dozen cards together the night before last, did a load of backing up on my lappy last night, and then cut those edges from a load of Kanban backing sheets. So at least I achieved somat yesterday, even if not as much as I should have done today. :)

Helped my friend put some of her knitting right - she's 90 and is hating the yarn she's using!

Got a pile of comforters started - must get them finished SOON! Won't get much done tomorrow though - am altering some of her slips and a skirt.
