Hello everyone ;),

It so happens that my daughters birthday happens to fall upon the same day as Halloween. I am a knitting fanatic and have been trying to come up with quirky knitting ideas to make for her birthday that we could decorate the house with. I have seen these amazing halloween patterns on King Cole, so they are going to be my starting point but I was wondering if anyone could help me with any other ideas if they had done anything a bit out of the ordinary. I am interested in all ideas :).

Here are the halloween patterns for those who are interested. http://www.kingcole.co.uk/media/patterns/large_images/9004.jpg

Look forward to hearing from you all.

Happy Knitting,

TheCraftsLady

I am not a knitter (just can't get the hang of it) but love the halloween patterns.

A warm welcome to the forum Thecraftslady.

Welcome to the forum flower, don't worry, I call everybody flower, chuck, pet, but mostly flower! ;)

Love the designs, not really into Halloween myself, but adore the puddy cats.

Knitting an owl at the moment, just his wings to do, then that is a birthday prezzie done and dusted. Still loads of stuff to do before Christmas, including a shawl, but all these blinking birthdays keep getting in the way. Why can't peeps have their birthdays between March and September is what I want to know, particularly my family. Bad timing I call it. :(
