As there seems to be some interest and as Fab is busy combing his beard I thought OK why not organise this swap.
If you haven't already seen the other thread about this ONE OFF swap the idea is this:
I had another brain wave (don't worry I don't get that many).
I've noticed a few post with people saying they're going to chuck some of their stash they've never used.
So what about a card swap in the near future called 'Well YOU do something with it, then !' :D
Once people get their swap partner they send as usual to the one below but they instantly send some bits and pieces (just enough for one card) to the one above. I know it's going to be twice the postage (sending the bits and sending the card later) but it could be a one off special swap only done once in the whole year.
It would be an inspiring way of seeing what someone could do with what you have.
Another cheaper option would be to list what we have but don't use and people who have the same stuff then post what creations they've done with it.
I do apologise to suggest something as I'm aware I haven't participated in the CT swap since I rejoined but I will definitely join in the fun soon.
If this kinda of swap has been suggested in the past again my apologies. I hope I haven't stepped on anyone's toes !

Now if you would like to join in please add a post to this thread. Please also bear in miind that you don't have to send a huge pile of stuff to the person you are sending to...... all that is required is enough to make ONE CARD and the card blank can even be provided by the maker, tho of course I am not ruling out sending something like an oddly shaped card blank that you have never quite been able to use - erm I can think of a few DB Design blanks that leave me COLD LOL!
Now it has occured to me that we will have a slight problem with the usual format of sending to the person ABOVE and BELOW as suggsted by Fab, the reason being that the person at the top and the person at the bottom of a single list would end up receiving stash from and sending their card to each other, so for that reason I will publish 2 lists - a "Send Stash To" List and "Make Card For List" - that should result in things being nicely mixed up :D
Timelines will be this :
Unwanted bits of stash to be sent to the person who is named BELOW you on the "Send Stash" List by the 7th of May.
Card Made with stash you have received should be sent to the person BELOW you on the "Make For" list by the 7th of June.
I will only publish one list at a time so as to avoid confusion. Therefore the "Send Stash" list will be published next Sunday (26th April), and the "Make For" List will not be published until the 8th Of May.
I will keep the list open for names until LATE next Sunday.
Finally this swap is for EVERYONE, so even if your one of our newbie members, why not take the plunge.
