Apparently it has been announced on Hobby Art's Facebook page that they are moving to Hochanda. When are C&C going to get their act together and sort things out so that people stay? As a long time viewer I feel really let down.

I'm not bothered at all about C & C now. There obviously has to be a reason why all these people are leaving, and I much prefer Hochanda. I sometimes record odd programs from C & C but very seldom watch them through.
I was quite excited about the Spellbinders launch on IW Pick of the Day, but switched off after the first one - found the demoes uninspiring.

C & C seem to be all Tattered Lace every time I switch on. Getting fed up with all these hyped prices and large bundles. Was looking forward to the Spellbinders but agree the demo's were uninspiring and the cost of the bundle!!! Buying separately with the p & p is also too expensive - would be better if they put them under the same number - they need to look at their selling policy. Bet they sold loads when free P & P - sometimes the proverb - bird in the hand is worth two in the bush comes to mind!

I have just received an email from Hobby Art. They are moving to Hochanda and the first show is on 27th July.
I am now totally fed up with the whole thing (i.e. the musical chairs) and won't be watching any of them. The likes of Hixxysoft are cheaper anyway.

ooh Deefy, another one gone jeez...............Tell you what ladies, I'd love to be a fly on the wall at C&C and IW - bet there's enough for a couple of books there with all the goings on. And the "head gardener" can't seem to see the wood for the trees (IMO). I do feel sorry for the presenters who are left tho, trying to keep cheerful and flog the "same old-same old" all the time, and I know we said that before they all started jumping ship.

At least Jane Greenoff is still around, albeit only once a month, ditto The Crewel Work lady. We also still have Pinflair and there is a Pergamano show on next week.
What I don't like is this endless supply of dies, especially when they come from the same company, aka Tattered Lace, just under different names. Sarah was on today with the deep dish dies for EPP (English Paper Piecing) saying how wonderful they are. Yer having a larf flower, I bought a huge set from Dot, well several of 'em in different shapes, for far less than those on the show today, and they cut just as well in my wee 'bug.

It may be something to do with the presenters. I don't like to name names so I will just say I had to turn off a recent tattered lace programme (shame as Nancy was on and I like her style) as the presenter just rambled on and on and barely drew breath and poor Nancy couldn't get a word in edgewise. She looked totally fed up. When will they realise that the products are the show not the presenters. Until they sort out the presenters egos it's not going to get any better I'm afraid.

I barely watch C&C at all anymore, personally find it too boring, too much die craft, not enough variety - Tatterered Lace, Tonic, Hunkydory over and over again with the occassional over priced unnecessary machine thrown in. Doubt I shall renew membership when the time comes.

No doubt you will be pleased to note the wonderful, brilliant, ever so quiet (cough!) presenter Sally Jacks is going to be on several C & C programs on Monday and Tuesday. Personally I can't wait.................... to turn off the telly, better still, chuck it out of the window.

ooh Roz noooooooooooooooooooo even though she's from Burnley (like us) - and I'm sure she's a lovely lass - the shouting gives me the heebie-jeebies. She got married a few weeks ago it was a beautifull wedding and she looked stunning, but I really don't think she's going to be popular on C&C, not her style at all.

I'm beginning to think that the main problem with C&C is the bods who own/run it. They must have picked up that SJ annoys crafty peeps, but there she is. Yesterday Kerry (?) from Toft was ill and couldn't appear so the opportunity was there to add more shows with the Silhouette Curio, but no. Anyone with a brain would have sorted out the situation with Disney from the beginning, but no and now there is a lot of ill feeling about the whole thing.

Very true Deefy, although as far as Sally Jacks is concerned they do know. The number of times complaints have been made of their Facebook page, usually followed by the response that they have taken note, then blow me nothing happens. She isn't the only one, though definitely one of the worst. Peter Simon with his smutty jokes, is another. Dennice always going on about her daughter. I could go on, but can't be bothered.
I really missed Kerry not being on. I do hope she is ok. I love her little video clips on YouTube. They only last for a couple of minutes or so. Each one is a different technique used in her books, and so very helpful. Her books are pretty good at explaining anyway, but it is often so much easier to see how a thing is done. So ten out of ten to Kerry for being so helpful in offering these tutorials, for free n'all. ;)
