With at least one more to finish.
The first one is the Just Cross Stitch November Alternative. I didn't care for the selected one, so used my third wildcard.

The final one in the Just Cross Stitch series is the December ornament, which I did like.

I can't remember if I have uploaded this one or not. It is an age since I finished it, came from one of my many Mill Hill kits.

The first two were from the Just Cross Stitch Christmas magazine 2015. We had to do one a month from the 12 that were voted for, although we could choose up to three wildcards. For the life of me I couldn't understand why the 'buy my own stuff' wasn't one of the selections. As soon as I spotted it I knew it was for me. Just gimme the the folding stuff, and I will spend, spend, spend on the website that shall remain nameless. At least it is on the Yahoo Friendly Stitcher's group as we are all inclined to vitis for one or two items, then end up buying loads of 'stuff'. ;)
The only thing I did differently on it was use different fabric to the original, but then I did that with all of them. Although I do have all the DMC threads, I didn't use them. Very little of each colour were needed, just a few stitches in some cases. I couldn't be bothered sorting out what was required, then having to return the skeins back to their packets, so used what I had handy, which just happened to be Madeira.
I have a bag filled with overdyed threads which tend to be madly expensive, as in £1.90(ish) for five yards, against DMC at 90 pence or so for 8 metres. Madeira threads are even cheaper, and for 10 metres, but I prefer DMC. I do like the overdyed threads though, also the silk, so invest in it when I can, which is only if I order something else from Sew & So, ooops sorry, that is the online shop that should remain nameless. ;)
I'm working on the little gingerbread house Mill Hill kit at the moment. I'm on the beading, which is wunderuff. Didn't do much on it today as I made a start on the Chrissy decorations. Didn't get far, but the pictures are up, as are most of the other surface stuff. Will decorate the 18" tree tonight as I can do that sitting down, then do the lounge tree tomorrow, followed by the one in the hall on Friday. At least all the Advent calendars are up and running, just waiting for the start tomorrow. I even have the new Jacquie Lawson one on my lappy. ;)

They are all beautiful. Congratulations.
