Disappearing Reviews.....

Thought I'd read some of the reviews for products with a less than perfect score. Well blow me down...... if it looks like any comments with less than a four star review are invisible!

This has 22 reviews but the 1, 2 and 3* are conspicuous by their absence. Having the total number posted just highlights the fact that they're missing.

This applies to other items I've looked at too.

If the review comment was along the lines of 'I haven't received the item' or 'bought as a gift' then I'm sure we can take that into account as not really negative but asking for our honest opinion either good or bad and then manipulating is very underhand. Shame on the powers that be.

Whatever you have to say, positive or negative, will help Hochanda to deliver the best possible service and show other customers how they perform.
All your responses will be made available publicly on the Feefo website. You can choose to make this review anonymous so that only Hochanda will know who you are.

PS - Has anyone ever had to return anything under DSR and did it go smoothly?

Not returned anything yet but I paid premium postage to get something delivered for a card I need to make. With other sellers it should be here tomorrow at the latest ( should be today if truth be told!) if I don't get it tomorrow I shall be demanding top whack postage back. I know DPD deliver Sundays so it is fingers crossed.I have had issues before with orders not delivered and CS were a nightmare to deal with.

The invisible reviews don't surprise me. If you have anything negative to say about Hochanda/their presenters/items etc., it appears to be deleted. Even our Roz was deleted (I think).

Most of the negative comments on Crafters Companion's Facebook seem to have gone the same way.

I looked at the source code for the page and got the Feefo address for this product's reviews. You can see the missing reviews here:

For that item the missing poor reviews are all about delivery or packaging, not the product itself so I'd like to see some other products to find out whether they are censoring any poor review, or only those that don't mention the product itself. If the latter then they are daft - as NeroWolf said, we are perfectly capable of taking that into account when considering buying the product (besides, delivery and packaging are considerations anyway).

Interestingly on the Hochanda page the graph indicates 22 reviews with two two-star reviews, but in fact there are only 20 reviews and no two-stars on the Feefo page, even though the link on the HOchada page is just returning the Feefo page data.

Now off to find some products on Feefo that have poor reviews for the item itself rather tha delivery or packaging, then I'll see whether those reviews are visible on Hochanda.

My parcel has been delivered. Trying to work out how ASOS only require £9.95 for their Premiere delivery service for a whole year , usually next day delivery or nominated day. Why are the Craft Channels not able to offer a similar offer? Even if you are a Hochanda member I don't think the monthly cost covers next day delivery and in any case for 12 months it is the monthly fee x12.

The missing 3 star review on the WOW powders is that it is actually a good review!

Twice chuck. I don't think Hochy like me very much, which is fine by me as it means I don't buy from them. Tiz usually cheaper elsewhere anyway, and often with free, or cheaper postage. The Nutmeg Company is a prime example. Meg charges £2 regardless of how many items one buys.

One only receives the minimum free postage for being a Hochy member. I had a free month once, only because I didn't get my first order, complained when i was told a pack of lies, so they let me have a freebie month to try it out. I bought a couple of products, but when I tried to use the second £10 voucher I was once again fobbed off with lies.
