I'm sure you've all come across floating teacups were the cup appears to be suspended in mid air and flowers are pouring out of it into a saucer. I had a go at making one for the current theme at the CD Sunday Blog which is my choice of theme - Say It With Flowers. Here's some photos of it:

I printed backing papers from several CDs onto card and die cut the flowers. The full instructions on how I made it are on my blog.

Thank you all - everyone's comments are so uplifting. I made this as my design team contribution but was very stressed at the time. Hubby was very, very tired so it was difficult to get out to buy a cup and saucer and then I needed pebbles to weigh it down. Luckily hubby remembered there were some small stones on the narrow path up the side of the house - so I nicked 2 and gave them a wash LOL!

That is absolutely stunning! I've not seen one like it before, it's brilliant and the flowers are gorgeous. I guess it must have taken a long time to make and arrange them all.

Thank you both. Spurred on by everyone's lovely comments I entered it into some challenge blogs. And yesterday I found out I was in the design team's Top Three on Crafty Gal Corner.
