I saw this in the programme email they send out and thought it looked interesting. Its good to see a channel showing bit of crafting variety. I used to crossstitch but it played havoc with my eyes (and kept me up to all hours as its so addictive) so don't dabble now but will still watch the show

Same here Sugarplum - I was cross stitch crazy at one point, but I don't have the patience anymore:rolleyes:

never tried cross stitch, always thought it looked far too complicated for me, but some of the pieces people do are so beautiful and complex, they have my full admiration

I hadn't heard of this range before - this site seems to have the range at a good price. They are very cute.

Its a lovely range. I used to enjoy cross stitch. Haven't got the patience or the eye sight anymore though. Good to see C&C doing something other than card making

I also used to indulge but gave up after completing one of those Photoimage cross stitches of my Mother's two old cats, that I did as a 70th B/day gift. Took me about 6mths to complete and what they don't tell you about those patterns, is that because it's from a photo, you need about 200 different coloured threads as the colour tone changes are so subtle and realistic. It was a work of love, but I've not picked up a piece of Aida since:)

Meant to add, I think Pam is still an active cross-stitcher, if I'm not getting muddled?

Hi Dips, You are right, more so at the moment because I can't do much else in the way of crafting. I'm stiching a large elephant one at the moment (well the elephant is large of course lol but so is Aida:rolleyes:). Done just over half of it.

I like the images on the Charlie's Ark ones but not sure about the colours!

I loved this show, it encouraged me to lift out the Pooh sampler I started about 8 years ago and finally work towards finishing it. It's mostly done but I miscounted the frame and had to undo a load.
I have plenty of spare time now my exams are over so it seems a good opportunity.
