Oh no, I flicked over and missed how Lynne got the gold foil to stick to the acetate. Did anyone pay attention to what she used? It was the three wise men card she made last.

A bullet tip glue pen - possibly one of those Zig ones? She just glued on the reverse side then applied the gold leaf. It was gold leaf BTW, rather then foil :)

Thanks Wellie, I meant to say gold leaf (having a blonde moment - must the all the fumes from my odourless solvent) :D
Hmm, I haven't got a zig pen, always found them to be a bit rubbish, I'll have to come up with a new method. Perhaps that two sided adhesive you can buy in A4 sheets would work.

Haven't seen the demo, but I've used metal leaf flakes on acetate and I use either my Zig glue pens (goes on blue, dries clear and tacky) or I run it through my Xyron.

I couldn't see the actual brand, I just know it was a bullet tipped one rather than the quickie glue stylee - I'm just wondering if a quickie glue pen would be just as good, just that it's a finer tip so would take longer to cover the largish area that Lynn was working on. I always get the impression that the pen glues are better than the thicker PVA glues cos gold leaf is so delicate & the glue pens have a thinner adhesive so the leaf wouldn't get too wet. And now I'm rambling LOL I missed a little of the demo (kids!), ,but I think she also left the glue to dry a little - so that it's turned from blue to clear & is still tacky before she applied the leaf - I may be mistaken in this though.

If you're just wanting to cover a particular area/part of an image I think a glue would be better cos you just sort of 'colour' in the bit you want to leaf, IYSWIM

I have not seen the 9am show yet - it's recorded - but if anyone has any questions such as what glue pen.... let me know cuz I can ask Lynn or Glenda in person for you on Friday ;) Off to watch the 11 am show now.

Don't think so, sorry :( They usually only repeat the 'C&C only' live shows like the Monday Preview
