Crafter's Companion 15th Birthday

Hello!
Just wondered if anyone else received the notification of the Crafter's Companion Birthday Event?
I'm curious, as in previous years there's always been a big hullabaloo together with whichever TV station they are currently associated with.
I don't see anything particular on the Create & Craft schedule - so has there been a change (or falling out...)?
Or perhaps Sara just want to promote her own TV Channel?

I received the booklet through the post, but when I went on line (as a Silver level club member I got early access) nearly all the things I wanted to buy were shown as out of stock! Not a happy bunny.

I received a booklet as well. Decided I didn't want to add to the squillions SD already has, so it went in the recycling bin unread.

Not had a leaflet myself but then I don't hardly ever buy from them and whoever they take on board (company) never seem to stay long. It might just be me but I've been thinking CC hasn't been as pronounced on C&C for few weeks. They've (C&C) also been promoting that old Craftwell die cutter ('cos its almost sold out folks- buy quick for a bargain- they say) and the new Kit & Caboodle one as against the Gemini in whatever form. Wonder if they'll be coming back to Hochy? Although they have their own tv style progrmme - maybe thats why they not as in our face?


I do like Fiona and that young man Craig (?) very much in their style and calm manner of demming.

I have noticed that ‘guests’ on both channels are allowed to use their Gemini machines to cut ( but the presenters don’t mention them). Sara doesn’t channel hop in the US. For looking at her new stuff it’s useful to have a look at HSN and read the reviews as the products launch earlier. The new portable craft room was sold in four colour ways rather than the two she has launched here. As a lot of her stuff is made in China perhaps they just don’t have the stock here.

The portable craft room bundle is already sold out online.
In the booklet it only mentions her TV channel - nothing about C&C. I hardly buy anything from CC these days as I find the same things more cheaply at Craftstash, with faster delivery. I'm only a Silver member because I've been steadily dropping down from Platinum. What drives me made is the tinkly music from the TV channel that starts as soon as you get onto the site. Might buy more if that wasn't there!

I haven’t watched the TV Channel, just seen bits via YouTube clips. I agree with you about Craftstash. It’s only if a company is in one of those exclusive for a month deals and I want it now that I get fed up.

I think the birthday shows on C&C start on Friday with Sara's Signature Rose collection.

“Founded by a TV star”- she wasn’t at the beginning! Sounds like some workers are not happy. I am sure the council will investigate and shut them down if it is proved to be the case. They would not be able to operate until they can prove the business is following guidelines.

To me, CC always seem to be overpriced, under performing copies of other people products.
