I'm looking for a kit for some quick cards for family this Christmas & this caught my eye.

Can anyone suggest a (different) good value kit? not fussed where from! :D

Right now I've watched the video - give the girl a pat on the back, she got it, by jove I think she got it!! - I can see why you're undecided Colourarc. I think it looks quite a big kit & is not unattractive, but it's Amy demo-ing which doesn't give it much zip! Plus, to me, IMHO, it feels a little pricey, particularly when you stick the p&p on - but you do seem to get a heap of stuff.

Plus they're the kind of cards that you can't buy in the shops, so peeps would be impressed, even though you yourself don't need to do a lot of work if you don't want to.

In my defence, I was busy flicking between here & the C&C site where I was checking out the product lists for today. I realise this is a very slim defence, m'lud, and there is actually no excuse for being a bliddy idiot :D

That's the TSV - if you look under the right thread I think opinions were/are divided. I might also add that a certain CT.com member has just listed a lot of the toppers & pyrimage on her site in the last 24hrs...isn't that right Winspiration ;)

Yes, I've got the toppers & pyramage from the recent TSV listed (BTW they didn't send the one with the mistake on). I have some other stuff to list tonight, including some Christmas pop up cards and some foiled card. Also some non-Christmas stuff :eek:

I have more foiled card & Christmas concept cards on the way, I suspect they won't be here till next week though, now.

Well, I am not a great lover of Kanban but MIL bought the kit to share with me as a nice surprise! :rolleyes: I really wasn't keen until she bought it to me to split for her. Its actually a FAB kit, gorgeous artwork and stunning foiled card!

I think you'll find the other kit is also Kanban

Hi,

I got this one 586039 ( sorry don't know how to do the link thing!) and I love it. Its Brenda Pinnick, and you get two cards of each design. There is a picture to show you what to do but I chuck that away and do my own thing! Its still quick as well. I'm doing the same as you - quick handcrafted cards!

My way of ordering card kits ,and call me a cheap skate if you like ;) is does it work out to £1 per card I can make or less? If the answer is yes I buy if if the answer is no I dont.

your 1st kit only makes 18 cards and the old TSV makes way more. I make my cards to sell though so I do look for more of a bargain
