Eek, just found this little bargain http://www.createandcraft.com/MultiBuy_Fantasy_Wonderland_Kit_%40a_129923.aspx?s earch=wonderland - wonder if it's for the forthcoming craft extravaganza show?
Absolutely livid about this now, I paid full price when it was a potd and I was feeling flush
I haven't looked for any other bargains but am off now - fingers crossed for the foxy fairy and last wonderland kits!
ETA just found this too http://www.createandcraft.com/Decoupage_Set_827284.aspx?nav=1&profileId=2107277#productdescription
Or you can just buy around the world on its own http://www.createandcraft.com/Around_the_World_127511.aspx?nav=1&profileId=2095458

Probably being a bit dim here but is the wonderland multibuy for both of the wonderland kits as well as the around the world one?
If so that is an AMAZING price.
I wonder if there will be free p&P on the Craftathon, although the wonderland kits have reduced p&p so perhaps not?

There's an awful lot of stuff marked at £2.90 P&P on the website just now - I wonder if that's preparation for the Craftathon? I hope not, but although I suspect they got their fingers burnt on the last Craft Day but one when they didn't have free P&P, maybe this is their way of getting SOMEthing out of it!! Keep the fingers crossed I'm wrong!

Hi chrissie, yes the kit is 2 wonderlands and 1 around the world as I had it when it was full price. It was bad enough watching it slowly come down in price as seperate items without them reducing it to this.
Now I'm tempted to get another set ;)
Thanks for finding the foxy kit, it wasn't there when I searched for 'foxy' earlier, gotta love a website that doesn't let you find anything!
I noticed the p&p was cheaper too, though tbh I'd be qualifying for the capped postage :D

Thank you DD. Seems a terrific bargain for 3 kits. I've had the wonderland kits multibuy & they are lovely.
I know how you're feeling about paying the full price, then it being reduced a few months later, which is why I've been keeping track of the FF kit waiting for it to be reduced.:p

The Foxy Fairy kit wasn't on the website last week, I emailed them to ask if they'd allocated it another item no- then a couple of days later it appeared. Since then it's been playing hide & seek, so kept the link.

I thought the same as you Chess - let's hope we're both wrong! :)

Right-o, Bargain Hunters. I'm after a couple of things from the Craft Week so if anyone catches sight of:
- The Christmas Ball ex-7 Day Deal
- The Christmas Shaker Cards ex-4 Day Deal
- The Decoupage Card Kit ex-POD with the big 8" cards, was demo'd by that newish lady

can they please let me know. I didn't note the item numbers and we had them on here in a thread, but, of course, it was all lost in the Big Bang!

Also, terribly cheeky, but can someone post on here when they spot that it's gone to free P&P on the website - I'll be at work so I won't be able to see on the telly, but I do pop into here on a regular basis! Sorry to be asking others to do so much, I'm not lazy really!!!

Nice Pimms wouldn't go amiss, Julie, plenty of ice and fruity bits, please!

In my (rather poor) defense, I did have an excellent CAC bargain thread on the old site, and did always share my finds with my buddies on here. Lol, Julie, I think I'm getting a bit too bossy now that I'm back doing a "proper" job - doesn't help that one of my team calls me "Lady Boss" - or, at least, that's what he calls me to my face!

Ok, keep going folks - some lovely reduced Elusive Images plates please :D

I had a nosey on the Sky EPG this afternoon & couldn't see any listings for Extravaganza shows, but there must be some somewhere...

Did you get some of the reduced bits from Graphicus Welly? I can't find the original thread now but I think Phree or maybe dips started it?
Luckily it's my birthday soon so my sister got me the large and small damask plates. I'm still tempted by the pair of butterfly plates and the mini mezze paints but I've already got 2 packs and have never opened them!
I detest the new c&c site even more than the old one and I'm determined to seek out as many decent bargains as I can :D

According to the iw site there is a craft preview show tomorrow at 11am and an extravaganza at 11pm on Thursday.
We're going to the outlaws on Thursday for at least 10 days so I don't think I'll get to watch much at all :(

I haven't got the reduced plates yet - still sorely tempted but I felt the call of Winspiration's new Kanban bits a little too strong to resist LOL

I see a lot of these sale bits are now being listed under the Clearance Sections, not necessarily under the sections you'd think they might be in of course, cos that's mean you could actually find the bliddy stuff

You know, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a mixture of p&p charges, as I've just had a quick look & things like some of the glues & foam pads are coming up free p&p.
I really hope that I'm wrong, but think that they will mix it up a bit so they can recoup some of their costs, especially on the sale things.

Thank you for posting all those fab links DD.
The fairy kit at £10 was my very first craft purchase & was £30 + p&p.
When the other wonderland kits became available, I had those as well, while they were lovely, the quality wasn't as good as that very first kit IMO. So think I will get that & the FF kit providing the p&p is fair.

chrissie
12-08-2008, 10:11 AM
It's looking hopeful for the free p&p don't you think? Everything on air for this hour is p&p free. Fingers crossed that it will be the whole website later!

If you mean that nice kit with the gel shaker packs, fabric snowmen, aperture cards etc, the one we all quite liked, but thought was a teeny bit pricey, then I noted the number down last week as 137096 from a pre-recorded trailer that was shown during POTD/Craft Day/Howard has picked his nose day (whatever they were doing last week) - but it's not pulling up any results ATM. So either I noted it down wrong (highly possible) or they've hidden it (also highly possible).

I've only stocked up on pinflair glue gel... I seem to be going through lots!
Just noticed that they were selling the Ellison dies alphabet sets for £10  I think they ususally retail for about £40 a set!!! Needless to say they are sold out :(

Never used silicone glue before. Can anyone tell me the difference between regular silicone glue and the Pinflair glue. MTIA. :)

The pinflair glue doesn't go rock hard in the tube or the syringe. I have wasted to many tubes of silicone because of that reason.

Can anyone tell me what the quality of these kits and the fantasy wonderland ones are like. Seem an incredible price for you get, but am I going to be disapointed with the quality? Is the printing quality poor or the paper very flimsy?
Or is it truely a bargain I should not miss? http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a266/Bradleyl/smillies/kaos-cats32.gif
Thank you in advance.

CS, I've not got these particular kits but I have had the Oriental and the Teddy kit. The quality is good, it is not excellent but nor is it poor. For example, it is not the same as say Kay & Co. However, I personally think these kits are very good value for money when they are at extravanza prices but equally I would not pay the normal £30 POD price for them, as if I was spending £30 on a single kit, I'd spend it on something from K&Co or equivalent. Hope that has helped.

Oh yes, thanks Welly, I think I remember Julie mentioning that somewhere.

Thank you, that has helped a lot, its good to have a comparison. I think I may be tempted with one at the reduced price.
