Can someone please tell me, when you buy something from the craft shows if you buy something and use it and then decide that you don't like it can you send it back for a refund within the 30 day period?
Thanks in advance

Thanks Mistyblue, I just wasn't sure whether they would refund all my money if I'd used some of it.

You sure can - and I have done in the past. I have used cards and embellishments, then decided either I don't really like the kit and won't use it, or maybe I found the cards too flimsy. Whatever the reason, you return it and get a refund/replacement within the 30 days

That's the peace of mind I like about QVC. Obviously not to be overused (returning over 51% of one's orders) then they'll shut your account apparently.

Fuzzyfelt-you should visit the outlet shops at Shrewsbury or Warrington-it would be an eye-opener! Some people really kick the ar*e out of the 30 day mbg, I can tell you! There are kits there that have been returned with half the stuff used! But then they are not actually doing anything against the rules. Maybe against the spirit of the rules, but they do get their refunds!

Thanks everyone, I bought one of the Kanban kits from the Craft Day and I'm not sure whether I'll use it, but wanted to try it out first. Only wanted to use a couple of bits. I wont feel so bad now if I try it.

You won't, of course, get your postage back for either direction.

what kit is it m8?
ive got one im not sure about its the glitzy girls one,
ive decided i dont like them blank with the white heads and skin and sometimes hair so have coloured in a few with pro markers which is alot better those skin tones are great.
but it means ill have to colour them all plus the glitter sheds quiet a bit.
not sure yet if i will send it back or not.

I often wonder whether peeps include their creations they have made, from the bits they have tried out, with the kits they return? It must be quite interesting for the returns department to see what people have made if they do! and I wonder if anyone has ever found a 'creation' inside a kit bought from the outlet store? ;)

It was the black vintage kit with cards, I thought that it was just going to be patterned card stock, but the card has been creased to make A5 cards. Not too keen on all of the toppers either.

I don't know how people have the brass neck to use oddles and then return it, I've return just a couple of craft things, usually totally un-used

You're telling me!Honestly, some of the kits at the outlet have had all the good bits taken out, such as speciality cardstock, and the less expensive bits are sent back! I wouldn't have the nerve, but then they obviously get away with it, so they will keep doing it!

What a flaming cheek. Not only taking the p***, but also obviously couldn't care less if they ruined someone elses card when they came to use them!

I have never returned a craft item, except if it was damaged, and if I was ever to, I would send the whole lot back, not half a kit, and def not tampered with like that.

That is absolutely disgusting & disgraceful iggylover - hideous oiks, a curse on all their future cardmaking, hope every single one goes horribly wrong from now on!

I probably would have noticed straightawayas I am utterly paranoid & go over everything I buy instantly with a fine tooth comb....& a magnifying glass! (As my eyesight has got worse, I am always afraid I will 'miss something', which I have done in the past & was shocked to see what I'd bought when I got my new glasses & could actually see the item in question!) :D

Have to say, most of the kits I've returned have been unused. The odd things I have used & returned have been because I don't like the look of the finished product using the embellishments etc or the quality was not good. I appreciate the 30 day mbg, but would never abuse it, unlike some. It gives you the opportunity to see if you like what you pay for, but agree some peeps will abuse absolutely anything! I have been on the receiving end of returned kits that have had at least half of the goodies taken out!
