mica on nesties?

Watched the Kanban show on QVC last night and it struck me that embossed nestie shapes could be mica powdered to get a similar effect

Has anyone tried? Any good or will I be wasting my time if I try?

Didn't see the programme but can sort of understand what you are saying and can't think why it wouldn't work if we are talking about a sort of letterpress idea. How does everybody fix their mica by the way.

I was thinking I would rub over the raised bits with a clear embossing pad then brush the mica over. Just realised I could use embossing powder instead. Yes crafty fingers itching now!
