I keep wondering about making kits for others to make up and wonder if the satin stiching round the hearts on this would be too much to expect. This was the first time I had done it on the machine and I wouldn't say a beginner would feel comfortable with it. Still, this year is my "research" year :grin: and I may decide just to craft and sell or even just to craft.

My feedback from my teenage focus group (my dd's partners daughters) and on the older age group (friend and daughter) on the Hamble and Jemima (http://www.hambleandjemima.co.uk/ourshop/cat_294880-Hamble-Jemima-Sewing-Kits-cc-pg_2.html) bag was that it needed to be longer, with longer straps and with a pocket on the front - a completely different style in fact so I need to a) make up the freebee that came with the Cath Kidston book and b) make the large tote from the book to see if that pleases the masses :grin:
