Anna Griffin mention in the 7pm show something about a sewing machine or such like as a TSV in Dec here??? I think she was told to hush pretty sharply in her earpiece:eek:

Yes, I heard that too...you could have heard a pin drop! A machine which sews paper...quite interesting as I like sewing on paper.

How weird is that, noticed in Craft Central on Sunday they have started selling some little sewing machines, God hope they aren't the ones, they looked real tat, like something I had when I was 10 !

I think JML do a tiny one at the moment, pretty rubbish.

I don't sew but assumed that all sewing machines could sew on card/paper. Is this not the case?
You can sew on card/paper with an ordinary machine, it would blunt the needle more quickly and whether it would be a good idea for the normal machine I'm not sure. Don't know if it would clog it up or not.
I think Julie might be right, a cheapo one, on the other hand knowing QVC it'll could be an expensive embroidery machine.

There is a new sewing machine in crafts which looks like a tsv.
587844 Janome computerised sewing machine with 30 stitches. £247.95:eek:
Think I'll be giving that one a miss:)

I have recently bought some new needles (to keep just for sewing on card) for my sewing machine as this is something I have been wanting to try for ages. I think this is a lot cheaper than a specific machine. I thought it sounded interesting though.

Yes I heard it too, actually I would have thought that most modern machines can sew on paper as long as you get the tension/needle and thread size right. But at £247.95, that is more than I paid for my really good Singer that I got last year which can do loads of stuff and I'm sure that if I fiddled around with it I could get it to sew material onto a card/paper backing!
