Embroidery by Nat
Now I know Julie Fernandez does not strip her embroidery threads, life being too short for such trifles apparently. However, I would have thought a lady who sells her own kits would have done. Granted Maggie Gee didn't last week, but the kit I bought is made up mostly of non divisible threads.
I was always taught that thread stripping was very important. When did this change?

I agree Roz. I was taught to do that when I did an evening course at the Royal School of Needlework when it was still in Kensington. It was a Inner London Adult Education course for a year and great value for money! The thread lies far better if you strip it first. I even do it if I am doing something chunky, like and Afghan, with all 6 threads.
