I've not actually tried jelly rolls but they do look good. My last piece of patchwork, a Grandmothers Garden cushion cover has been sitting in the craft room for the last month waiting for the patchwork piece to be mounted onto the cushion. really should get around to buying some more cushion pads. I must have best part of a dozen covers waiting for suitable sized pads.
Got a patchwork cushion hanging out to dry at the moment. It's at least 30 years old. I was hand sewing it when my gran saw me and asked if she could have it when it was finished. So then we sat together while I sewed it and Gran sat and talked aout all sorts and passed on various sewing tips. Now she's long gone the cushion is back in my possession and I will not be parted from it. Gran said to my Mam that I was the only grandchild she'd ever been able to sit and talk to without the "Oh heck she's off again" look on my face.
When it dries, I'll photo it.

Thank for that link Craftycat, have put it on favourites. Looks like a site that might have wobbly shelves...
I'm making my friend a comforter for the cold winter nights in front of the telly so will have a look.
Oh Lord, I'm in Fabric Heaven. That poppy design on the front page is wonderful. And, Kaffe Fassett jelly rolls. Mmmm... :song:
