Wink In best Janice from Friends voice .........

    "ohhhh my god!"
pie have just received some card stock for a scrapbook I'm making for my wee friend who got married and I'm stunned.
its the "once upon a time" pad from DCWV. I've never used it before. Actually I've never even seen it before, but i took a gamble because it was the only card I could find with a fantasy feel which I wanted

He is into role play fantasy games and she's a witchy type, so I really wanted pages with dragons and fairies in the background, which I thought would be impossible to find. But this card pack is astounding and a real thing of beauty. I'm also so glad I bought the 48 page pad because that means I have 2 of each, one to make the scrapbook and one to save :)

Oh and they go married in an old castle too, so perfect! I would recommend DCWV to everyone who hasn't tried it
I have learnt to keep an open mind, but not to be so open minded my brains fall out

I miss Nancy on QVC - it was the highlight of craft days etc.

I have the whole scrapbook kit, Comfrey. It is waiting for me to set time aside, be selfish, and make the scrapbook of my own creative life - very Once Upon a Time There Was a Girl Called Shirl! You may groan ...Enjoy your scrapping - sounds perfect for the project.
    Take care all

I, too, have DCWV papers. I bought an 8x8 pad some years ago. I take it out with the intention of using it but it usually goes back after I flick through its lovely pages. Too good to use!!! Must go and look it out again for a bout of admiration.

    P.S I miss Nancy too.

It sounds lovely. I have a DCWV 12x12 pad and only use it on very rare occasions. I do like to look at it then put it back so it doesn't get spoilt.

I bought the scrapbook album and the postcard size matts. It's just lovely. I have never scrapbooks before so it's going to web a learning curve. But with such beautiful stuff I don't think I can go far wrong ..... I hope.

Isn't it beautiful. Like SDC I'm 'saving' it for a scrapbook for me. I was good though and used a sheet on a scrapbook I made for my sister. Generous aren't I? :giggle:

A whole sheet? That is downright extravagant!

I have that whole set too and am half way through the scrapbook of our wedding! Just for us, although I did use a couple of the sheets for my daughter's wedding album - shiny bright halo!
