    Default Gelli plate play:on fabric

Been playing again. This time on an old tee shirt using acrylic fabric medium with my acrylic paints. It's now in the wash to see what happens.

I looked it up when Jammy first mentioned it. You can watch a demo here. I think Jammy is amazing mastering it so quickly!

Jammy are those the Tim Holz bird dies you've used to print with? What material did you cut them out of?

    Default Gelli plate play:on fabric

It washed at 40 degrees with no problem so now I just have to buy some white tee shirts for the grandchildren as they are staying with us for a couple of weekends next month and I thought it would be a great thing to do.

The birds are sizzix I believe, just cut from copy paper. I spent a couple of hours this morning just trying out ideas. Next time I will be cutting masks and stencils from acetate as the paper stuck to the plate and was difficult to get off, but not as difficult as the feathers!!!

Thanks for your comments. I really like the way this design turned out and would love to wear it but its on the back of a much too small tee shirt. I didn't think my first effort would come out so well. Bet I can't repeat that design, oh well, onwards and upwards.
