Big shot help

The new one is Teal coloured. The big shot starter kit has a platform but it is not the same as the original multi purpose platform and still needs a shim to use the thin dies. They were going to do away with the original multi purpose platform but have decided that as it works with every die on the market they will start putting it in with the new machines. It is still sold with the normal big shot pack (pink) but the one in the starter pack is different. Hope this makes sense.

Mine is the electric one (big shot express?) and came with an 'essentials' platform and I needed the solo wafer thin die adaptor to cut the thin metal dies.
