How busy you all have been and what lovely things you have made. That tree skirt is a real heirloom piece Soog - I can see it being used down the generations. I'm struggling to get my cards done this year so I won't be making any gifts but I have enjoyed reading about everyones' projects.

Well, I've been quiet on here - but I'm happy to report that is due to festive activities (card making with friends, the gingerbread house) and crafting!! As the big day approaches I find that despite my best efforts I'm not quite finished as early as I would have like - but I am confident that I will be by the 25th.

I've made a few hats (for my goddaughter, and my two nieces) (no pictures because I wrapped them before remembering to take them), a stocking for my niece's boyfriend:

Lots of freestanding lace ornaments on my embroidery machine:

I personalised these tea towels for my friends who build the annual gingerbread house with me:

Finally (I think) I did two more photo layouts in Craft Artist - I'll post those later as the frames for them should be (fingers crossed) arriving today!

I love the tea towels. What a simple, but effective idea.

I've really enjoyed reading this thread. My quilt is nearly finished, just need to get the material for the side panels and sew them on and then add the wadding and backing. I'll post a picture of the finished version.

Got to make a card for the Head's father's 80th birthday today - made one for her birthday which happened while we were in Nepal and now I'm getting more commissions. Still, that is more money towards the fund for the school there so I'm not complaining!!

Thanks Julie. I'm not usually a skull person -- but I love that stocking (and the skull snowflakes!)
