Default A couple of Cricut Explore projects

I finished these over the weekend and I'm pretty pleased with the end result. I think I'll be making a few more and we'll use them to decorate at my best friend's birthday party at the end of June.

The rose garland is made from Anna Griffin papers, cut on the Explore using the Giant Flowers cart. The base of the garland is some twisted wire, I glued the roses on and then twisted the fairy lights around the wire (I wanted a lot of lights!). When the lights aren't on they look a little like thorns. But most of the time they are on as they are so danged pretty. :)

And this little bouquet of rosettes was super easy as the Explore scored them for me! Hurrah!

    Thanks for looking!!

Thanks everyone! And thanks for the 'Welcome Back' Dips. I'm hoping that I'll be able to start posting (and more importantly crafting!!!!) a bit more now. Life just got busy there for a while! :)

    Wow how pretty is that
I have the giant flower cartridge
was going to use it for daughters wedding decorations but ran out of time
Seeing what you have made has inspired me to get it out and have a play

You don't have to be as mad as a box of frogs to be here but it helps:mysmilie_13:

It's a fun cartridge! I did make some truly giant flowers with it last year! They are about 18inches across.

I used a glue gun to stick them together this time - rather than the little slots and tabs - and it was a little faster and the end result is a lot sturdier.
