Jilly, if you have time, please show us the card when you've finished!!
Know exactly what you mean Jilly!! and other times I've literally thrown something together and its looked lovely!!
As promised - hopefully - picture of finished card. Except I found out after finishing it that my brother was 65 last year!!Lost a year somewhere. :mysmilie_61:
Fortunately was able to get the 65 off with no damage from the front of the 'stable' and substituted a mini horse image instead!! So two pics now. IMGP8320.jpg

Reason for this style of birthday card for him is that this year he's also been married 40 years in Oct. and his wife was 60 in Jan. They are having a pig roast in a field behind their house which has lots of trees in it and a stable block to celebrate the '100 years' and raise money for a local charity. Apparently the whole village are invited along with family and friends and I will be going up and staying over for the night in a local Travelodge. I'm keeping fingers crossed for good weather on the 26th. and hopefully he will understand I was trying to replicate their weekend celebrations. What do you think?

It's lovely :) I really like it.
Its lovely Jilly, and hats off for being able to alter it without making a mess! Sure he'll be thrilled with it, think you have the event off to a'T - ' thank you for sharing!
It's great Jilly. Looks like you used the beach hut from tattered lace for the stable? I love it when we can personalise our cards for the person or occasion. I'm sure your brother will love it. What die did you use for the fence post please?
Well I think it is brilliant. Well done that gal. :)

Always look on the bright side, if you can't find it then polish up the dull side.
