This is my latest project -- it's the only photo of my parents wedding day. I manipulated it a bit in Craft Artist, printed it out and then used Mod Podge to paste and seal it on to a wooden board. (I used hairspray to 'set' the inkjet image before I Mod Podged it.)
I used 'Clearly for Art' modelling film to make the 'metallic' flowers. I bought a pack of the stuff a couple of years ago but hadn't used it until now -- and now I'm addicted to it! I used the black version, cut flower shapes on my Explore (it is dense stuff - so multicut 4 times) and then used metallic inks to colour them. I blasted them with a heat gun and shaped them into something resembling a flower.
The centres of the flowers are old buttons or brads, some coloured with the alcohol inks.
The smaller photo is one of my favourite of them, taken a couple of years before they passed away. The three keys are Tim Holtz embellishments and say Love, Dreams and Journey - appropriate I think for a 54 year marriage.
The metal label holder has my parent's name and wedding date - but I blanked it out for public photos!
On the back I've pasted a copy of the wedding registry that I found online in public records.
