I'm trying to be a bit more "arty" and get into mixed media a bit too. I'm not naturally gifted in that department so I'm doing some classes. One was with Kassa at Art From The Heart (one of the sponsors so I'm sure it's OK to mention it.) This is what I made:

The girl is a Stampotique stamp and the words are Dylusions (Dyan Reaveley).

I'm debating whether to frame it or put it in my (new) art journal.

That looks quite intricate - it must have taken ages. Love the combination of colours

You don't have to be as mad as a box of frogs to be here but it helps:mysmilie_13:

Really lovely Mitzi. I have an 'arty/crafty' friend who puts things in journals so I can understand you wanting to put it in there. But perhaps having it on display may encourage you to do more?

I would display it too, but not in a frame as I like the frayed edges. It's a very attractive piece of work, you must be very pleased with it. It's good to try something different!

It's my kind of art so I think it would be a shame if it wasn't put on show.

I love the color combination and your art style. Do you have any more images to share?
