Default Hochanda TV - oh dear................

I have just taken a look at shows for Saturday 29th and was totally bored just jotting them down - I hope to goodness that things are going to pick up a bit once it finally gets going.

    The shows are as follows:

    6am Stamping show
    7 Kitchen essentials
    8 Stamping show
    9 Vintage Floral Wall Clock
10 Chloe's Silver and White Christmas
11 Craft yourself Silly (Crochet kits and Patterns with Hayley Smith)
    12 Vintage Floral Wall Clock
1pm Chloe's Silver and White Christmas
    2 Craft Yourself Silly
    3 Chloe's stamps
    4 Vintage Floral etc
    5 Craft Yourself etc
6 Simply Sewing with Tamara etc
    7 Vintage Floral etc
8 Sewing machine (a sewing machine offer)
    9 Vintage Floral etc
    10 Craft Yourself etc
11 Simply Sewing with Tamara etc
    12 Vintage Floral etc

I couldn't be bothered to note down Sunday as well, but apparently Six Penny Memories are on (not interested - much prefer Mandy Shaw) - there is also something (someone) called Redhand Crochet, a show with floating candles and storage called the Buddybox.

I think I may be sticking with C&C.................???????? Perhaps the Craft Channel will have more to offer?

I'm on Freeview, so my friend, who's on Sky, read this out to me last night. After looking forward to the new channels, I feel a bit despondent now. I hope "The New Craft Channel" has a better line up, ie, some new companies!!

Doesn't sound very inspiring. There was me hoping for something a wee bit different from the usual, with just a few of the usual chucked in for good measure - Rob Addams for instance. Oh well, perhaps something better will turn up in due course of time.

I'm with you on Mandy Shaw vs Sixpenny Memories. The latter seem to only have American type stuff, whereas Mandy does her own thing.

Never heard of Redhand crochet, though I do know of Red Heart knitting yarns. Floating candles I seem to remember from QVC many years ago.

Found this for Buddybox http://www.mybuddy-box.com/ just what I need when I am shopping - I don't think.

Hayley Smith - Craft Yourself Silly used to be on C & C many moons ago with her proggy rugs and other stuff. That is one show I will watch.

Always look on the bright side, if you can't find it then polish up the dull side.

I'm keeping an open mind. Don't have the time to watch all day long anyway, so would be happy to have 2-3 hours a day that interest me.

I thought it was that Hayley too - but I've never seen her doing crochet I've only ever seen her do the proggy articles (my rug kit is still in packed up untouched !!) I'd love to get started on it - and all of the other things I want to do.

What is the point of a new channel with the same people who were on c&c
from the line up there are only a few good names moving over, the rest seem to be old hat
well thats my opinion will see what happens after launch

Give em a chance, they need to start off with stash & people that they know will bring the money in then once they can see where their customers are spending they'll be able to add in new companies & products.
