    Default Soft toys

I have made soft toys before but never gone to the extent of adding cheek colour. Does anyone know what is the best thing to use? Can you use people powder colour or does that just make a mess over a period of time? The item I'm making at the moment is not an actual toy, it is a door stop i.e. it won't be handled as much as a toy.

ooh Deefy, never done one but cant see it being a problem unless its going to maybe get damp? mind you, even then it wont be handled will it? I have two, one is a house and has a floppy handle coming out of the roof and the other is a dog without anything that I have to pick up to move which is the one I would have trouble with were it 'painted' IYSWIM ?

Always look on the bright side, if you can't find it then polish up the dull side.
