Default Birthday card for a friend

Actually she is a friend of a friend, but any friend of her is a friend of mine if I have met them at least once. ;)

I used the fan grid from Issue 1 of the Parchment Lace magazine, plus one of the papers from the same issue. No idea where the butterfly pattern came from as I made them last year sometime. I really do need to find it as they are an ideal size for adding that bit extra to a card.

I should add that the bottom of the card isn't actually wonky, which makes the sides look a bit odd. I took the photo before the glue dried properly. It is flat now. :)

Must admit I have become quite addicted to parching again. There are a couple of nice designs in the latest Parchment Lace magazine. Just dithering about getting a subscription to the other monthly parching magazine. They sell it in Smiths, but isn't always on display, or if it is neither I nor Christine can find it.

I've never done any parchment craft, but I really like the look of it. The fan has a lovely pattern. Thank you for posting a photo.
