    Default Stamps from China

My stamps I ordered have arrived this morning. They are A6 size and cost £1.99 including post. Each stamped first time (Colorbox ink), but I had to take a scalpel to the musical notes because there were a couple of 'blobs' in between the lines of notes. Just skimmed them off the surface and it stamps fine.

Add on: Forgot to say I really only wanted them for the musical score but it was a set. There are also a couple of lovebirds that I forgot to photograph.

In your photo the top is on the left. The ties (the curved lines) are above the notes. Also the instruction "pp" (pianissimo - very soft) half way down is written above the section to which it refers.

I don't know why (perhaps I'm a bit odd) but all I keep thinking of is the plinky plinky plonk plonk tune from Hello Hello (the episode when they were hiding inside the piano).

Ha!Ha!, bet someone will be along who can tell us whether its 'just notes' or does have a little melody!

It does have a melody, but it's not complete. The treble/bass clefs are missing from the left hand side, as is the time signature. Part of the stave on the right is also missing, so it doesn't flow properly.

Yes, it doesn't look as though anyone drew up that stamp: it looks as though they've just scanned an old page of music and used part of it.

I've done a melodic contour search on Musipedia, but it turned up hundreds of results, so I've taken a short cut and asked my cousin who is a walking encyclopaedia of music.
