Looks good! Seem really fiddly to me with those thin arms and legs so never gave them a go, are they hard to do? . Love the sewing machine! Please don't leave her sitting there for too long, she will get a " hot bot!"

Tilda is yet another thing on my 'to do' list. I have several of Tone's books and the thing I like about her patterns is the fact that you draw out the shape, sew on the lines and then cut it out so it's not so fiddly. I have used this method on other stuffed toys as well i.e. a rabbit pattern I have with stand up ears - you would never be able to sew them if you cut them out first.

Aww bless she's lovely, thanks for sharing, what's her name NMC? I'm thinking like EA, don't let her get blisters on her botty !!
Deefy, that's a brilliant idea, I'd never have thought of doing that. Does that lady show you how to do other "Toys"? I'm thinking Shark and Penguin of decent (big) sizes? Had thought of doing them with proggy material and hessian but its not very practical for kids toys I'm thinking the hessian would go funny?
Two and two make four...........but now and then they add up to three and occasionally, just occasionally its five !

They are easy to do, I traced the pattern onto freezer paper(I don't like cutting up my books) I iron the freezer paper onto the fabric, stitch round the shape then cut out with pinking shears. I use haemostats (a kind of forcep dead cheap on Amazon) to help turn through. I reach in and catch the toe or hand and pull through. I'm not good with skewers or knitting needles as I poke to hard and go through my stitches.
Ouch. Poor little thing!
