Smile Well 'The Box' is now finished

I am not exactly happy with these photos, but under the circs it is the best I can do. Lighting isn't a problem, it is trying to find somewhere that has a light/clear background.

Top and part of two of the sides.

I should have laid the tool case flat so it can be seen better. Maybe should have taken the thimble out of its little bag as well. Three watbo's, all different in some way. I made one for each pair of scissors, and one for the Clover cutter.

The Clover cutter case was supposed to be plain, but trust me to be different. After all the effort I put into learning how to do the bullion roses, I wasn't missing the opportunity of using them again.

I spent a small fortune on gold plated charms, plus extra thread and other bits and bobs. I reckon the box and its contents have probably cost me round about £150 altogether. Worth it though, as was the effort I put into it.

Always look on the bright side, if you can't find it then polish up the dull side.

I've been patiently waiting to see this 'box' as I didn't have a clue what it was. But it was worth waiting for as it's stunning!

A stunning piece of work. I admire anyone who can do Hardanger, as I am terrified to cut into fabric. I've done classes with Jane Greenoff and have done little bits on a sampler, but your box is something else! Really beautiful.

Exquisite! Totally gobsmacked at the amazing artistry, to put it bluntly Roz! Could have floundered around trying to find more " delicate" wording but said as I saw it!!
