    Smile Please meet Donder

My little Toft reindeer. May I say I am never, ever going to work that design up again. A round of three double crochet, she has got to be kidding. In the end I sort of fudged something that looked vaguely right.

He's really cute. Wish I could crochet - it's the one needleart I can never get right!

Doesn't look very fudged to me - beautiful as ever.

You don't have to be as mad as a box of frogs to be here but it helps:mysmilie_13:

He's adorable Roz - doesn't look "wrong" at all. What did she mean by 3dbl crochet? was it into the same stitch ?

He's adorable. What a shame the pattern was rubbish, you'd never know that looking at him though. You obviously did a great job adapting the pattern.

I should have said he is actually a she. Started out as a feller, but somewhere along the way she became a filly. I know that isn't what a female reindeer is called, but I call all females fillies, well all those with four legs anyroadup. ;)

Nowt wrong with the pattern, in fact I have watched Kerry Lord do it on YouTube. Once I get down to six stitches or less, the entire thing goes belly-up. Mind you she does use mega thick wool to demonstrate with, and it doesn't split like the Stylecraft alpaca mix does.

Anywhoo, Donder is looking so sad on her own, there isn't room on the top of the speaker for Dynamo, Poppy, and her. Soooo I am going to buy some more yarn tomorrow and make a polar bear (or something) as a friend. Honestly, what am I like, giving feelings to a ball of yarn and a bit of stuffing! Just shows I am totally crackers, harmless though. ;)
