    Default Dock Bruna blanket

Many years ago, about 1988, I knitted both my sons patchwork blankets of Dick Bruna characters. The pattern was printed in monthly instalments in Family Circle magazine.
Sadly, I lent the patterns to a work colleague, but it wasn't returned.
I would love to knit the blanket again. I could just count the stitches on the blanket I still have, but that would be very fiddly. So I wondered if anyone has a copy of the pattern I could borrow?

    Hi,

Is it the January 1988 edition with 'Lisa Goddard' on the cover? An ABC Blanket?

Try knitting kingdom.com in the search bar, as well as etsy/ebay.

There is also a crochet kingdom.com as well.

Both are good for hard to find patterns.

What a nuisance that you didnt get the pattern back!

If you do end up resorting to counting stitches, it might be easier to take a close up photo of each square and work off the printed copy. If You are lucky the individual stitches will show up and may be as good as the original pattern (assuming it was a graph)

Thanks for the suggestions. The title was changed by the auto correct on my Kindle, which obviously doesn't like double entendres!

That would be amazing - I have kept looking on eBay, but with no success. Happy to swop for Dick Bruna cross stitch patterns if you would like them.

Please could I also have a copy of the pattern as my grandmother in law has lost hers and wants to knit a blanket for us as she has done for my husband when he was a baby.

I have started knitting the Dick Bruna Alphabet coverlet from the Family Circle but only have the pattern up to and including the letter'L'. I would much appreciate a copy of the rest of the pattern if someone has it.
