    Default mixed media advice please.

Ive been asked to re-paint a cut out of an MDF beer glass ( don't ask!) Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get a more realistic frothy head on the beer? It is currently painted white with blue / grey swirls to make it look foamy.
I saw someone use a paste once that puffed up when heated... would that work and if so what is it called?
Not a mixed media crafter so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you!

I've used Woodware white fluffy stuff before.

You can get it other places, that was the first link I came upon.

Dovecraft do a puffy paint, although it's in a small tube (like stickles) so you might need multiple tubes if the MDF piece is large. Most of these things work by you heating them with a heat gun to make them puff up, but it varies as to whether you let them dry first or heat when wet.

Something else you could try is a texture paste, I think Ranger do one which is quite fluffy, but not hat cheap. Not sure if it's opaque white or clear; if the latter, you would have to paint over it.

    Good luck!

If you have got some plain white texture paste and just overheat it, it will bubble up. I think I did that with some Dreamweaver paste.

I use Golden moulding paste for my altered artwork. I have never tried to overheat it so can't say if it will bubble or not. I bought some paper a while back that when heated it bubbles up, but can't say I was that keen on it.
