    Default Help please

I want to make some mdf plaques using the toppers, papers etc., from the Hunkydory dog kit. When they are stuck on the mdf do I need to seal them with anything? I wondered if I should be using something like Mod Podge? Sorry to sound dumb but I haven't done any before and I want them to last (if they are sold to raise funds I don't want anyone complaining about the finish).

Mod Podge should work fine, failing that, one of the acrylic varnishes. They come in gloss, satin, or matt. Give the MDF a primer before you stick anything to it. I used a white matt paint, the stuff one puts on walls, when I primed my MDF dolls house. One of the small pots from Wilko's (own brand) is as good as anything.

Always look on the bright side, if you can't find it then polish up the dull side.

I have used Mod Podge and also a matte varnish. The matte one was a Claudine hellmuth one, still is fine even though it is quite old.
