Default Not really a cd but a mcs usb problem

I purchased some tattered lace wild woods dies in the sale along with the
    coordinating usb,
    all seemed to a bargain

It stated on the box that I can change designs and colour
all I got 4 choices of colour charisma patterns for each die
which when clicked on show up in my photos gallery and I printed of my choice from there
I downloaded the program on the usb to my pc
All I got was pages of backing papers that can be viewed in my photos library
Nothing there for me to change anything
Am I just missing a few brain cells or is this a con
and I have to purchase another program for this to work
Any help would be most appreciated

You don't have to be as mad as a box of frogs to be here but it helps:mysmilie_13:

Do you not have to open them in My Craft Studio? That’s the only way I can think that would let you change colour and size.

    Thanks Pamela
I have got the program to open
And got the grid where you can change things but cannot get the usb to open in the program
It only works in my photos album and won’t import to the mcs studio
Might have to spend a few hours playing to work it out
I know I am not the brightest crayon in the box
But found crafters companion cds were much easier to do lol

The usb doesn't open - you just access the files on it using MCS, and drag them onto the squared working area. Once there you can do a lot with them. I have just started playing with it again as Serif Craft Artist is no longer supported and I don't know how much longer it will keep going... It seems quite user friendly.
Life is like a box of chocolates... you never know what you are going to get...!
