    Default Coronavirus lockdown challenge

    To keep us busy when under lockdown, and allow members who can’t get out to post things to participate in the forum in a crafty way. It is not intended to replace the card and ATC swaps; please support them if you can.

    Rules:

    1. Make any art or craft project on the theme(s) below. This might be a card, an art journal page, a quilt, a cross-stitched ornament, crochet item, home decor piece etc.

    2. Post a picture of it on this thread for others to admire

    3. The theme runs from now to the end of April. Post as many entries as you like.

    THEME:

    * Butterflies
    OR
    * The colour blue
    OR
    * Stash buster - use a tool or material you’ve had for a while but never used (e.g. a USB stick, a paper pad, yarn, die set, sewing machine... basically anything that you’ve been intending to use but not got round to it.)

    You can combine the themes or just use one.

    I am trying to keep the ATCs in a more organised way this year. The Graphic 45 Mixed Media Journal is being decorated by papers from ‘Place In Time`( stash busters.) As the ATCs will be grouped in months of three I have used stamps from Jan, Feb and March. In the pocket are two of the beautiful postcards I have received from Mitzi, with craft paper clips ( new dies Karen Burniston). On the outside of the pocket are journalling cards stating January and February ‘s themes with craft clips ( new dies Karen Burniston) then finally the gorgeous UK stamps Mitzi used to post her Chinese New Year ATCs with. This is the first time I have attempted something like this - a work in progress throughout 2020.

    PP That looks amazing! I had no idea you kept my postcards.

    PJP so you managed something blue after all! Did you enjoy being challenged to get out of your comfort zone?

    It is a waterfall card. I’ve only ever made 2 and don’t think the other one was for you.

    Loving it! I’ve almost finished my fourth ‘blue’ card!!! Can’t stay out of the craft room at the moment.
