I have been using my new electrical sizzix since it arrived ( fortunately on a day MrPinkPig was golfing) and it’s very good.

Unfortunately the biggest Sizzix dies don't fit through it so I bought the A4 Sizzix machine in a Black Friday sale, which sits in it's box until I need it. I've also got 2 Cricuts (Explore and Explore Air) and a Silhouette Portrait. They all have their different uses so it's hard to decide which ones to part with!
I didn't like to own up to my two Silhouettes.

    Well!!

Been trying to use my Spellbinders Wizard - it was put back in its box and everything is there. Can I get it to cut a die - NO. Still got the instructions so followed them. The two thick white plates on either side, small white plate, card and die. Can't get it to go through like that so tried without the small white plate and there is not enough pressure to get it through.

Still not feeling too good so haven't got a lot of patience at the moment.

    You Temptress you!

I am very impressed by everyone's collections of cutting machines. I had a Craft Robo before I got my Scanncut, now have just that and Tangerine. If I upgrade again I would love an electric Sizzix.

From what I remember about my Wizard it is just 2 thick white plates for die cutting - maybe you could use a piece of card as a shim? I also had a blue plate that might have been used with Fiskars texture plates.

I had a Craft Robo once upon a time. I can't remember exactly why, but I sort of lost interest in it. couldn't be bothered to flog it on eBay, so took it down to the fluffit/woofit shop. Doubt they got much for it, but better a few pounds than it sat on the shelf gathering dust bunnies.

Funny, I sort of lost interest in my Craft Robo, too. I never got round to giving him the upgrades and we used to argue quite a lot. Sometimes he'd do what I wanted, sometimes he wouldn't no matter what I tried. I was looking into a Silhouette or Cricut when a mid-level Scanncut came on offer and I went for it. used it a lot for Care Home projects so it earned it's keep. I have some USBs and use Canvas on the computer rather than squint at the little screen. Wouldn't be without it now.

    Hi Jan

It's all to do with the appointment they said would be at least three months because of the pandemic. I just seem to be getting worse. Might get in touch with the doctor to see if he can give me any painkillers.

I checked yesterday and it's a month since I got the letter from the specialist so at least another two months to go.
