Oscar's Ornament

Finished it this afternoon, backed with felt, added his name and the dates on the back. Now hanging on my craft room door. https://rozneedlesandhooks.wordpress.com/

Of course it doesn't really look like him, he had a lot more white on his chest and tummy, he also had more defined stripes. His eyes were amber, rather than green, but they wouldn't have shown up. As it was I changed the eyes to beads as the green cross stitch was very dull. I also altered the colour of the nose leather from brown to pink. I have yet to see a ginger cat with a dark brown nose. There is no way he would have worn a collar, much less a bow. But no matter, it is the dedication to him that matters.
