CSF, have a look on eBay, PJP put me onto "Slipscreen" and I got compatible plates from there for my Gemini. I bought 1 x 3mm and 2 x 4mm (all A4) I think it was £18.50 for all of it. Excellent service too.

Two and two make four...........but now and then they add up to three and occasionally, just occasionally its five !
Thanks - I'll have a look there as the replacement plate I bought on eBay is getting near the end of its life as the rough surface is beginning to damage the card I'm cutting. I couldn't find any official replacement plates when I first needed one, so hunted elsewhere.
Hmm, well they do have a much better selection of products than the never ending Tattered Lace (and relatives) that C & C have. Far more than just paper crafting too, still way too many shows that seem to sell only fabric, but even then they still managed other types of needlework. Just a pity their prices are so high, especially with postage on top. Usually cheaper to buy directly from the suppler, Rowandene for instance.

Yes, they are expensive for some things - I've had quite a bit direct from Clarity, free P&P for orders over £10. I think the mass exodus from Hochy to back to C&C has had massive effect. If as in previous years the roundabout starts turning again, then they'll all be back on Hochy in about 18m. What I have noticed though is that many of the new suppliers on both channels don't appear again and I wondered if they had to achieve a minimum sales figure ? Don't know how it all works but I think they've a fee or alot of commission to pay.

The lady who runs Daisychain designs told me that Hochanda take commission on the things she sells via them. I bought from her before she was on selly telly and have continued to buy from her directly as she prefers that. Postage is cheaper and I normally get my goods in a day or two as well. But I can also see that it is a useful way of a small specialist company getting their shopfront out to a wider audience.
C & C do the same as Hochy. I always mix Daisy Chain and Dandelion Designs up, can never remember which is which, even when I have bought from them both at Harrogate. I've never bought from either via Hochy, but have bought from one of 'em, whichever did the C******** crackers, online. Posted very quickly, and postage was reasonable. I always buy my Glitzcraft goodies directly from Glitzcraft, usually getting free postage, plus a discount for spending a small fortune, Then of course they have their reduced items, usually half price. ;)

Forgot to say. I have checked out all the programs for the week, up to next Monday, and can't find anything about Crafters Companion being on telly. The kit may be exclusive (cough) but they aren't gonna flog many if nobody but us knows about it.
