Those are all wonderful! Would love to see details from Borderline and LJ for how you made them; thanks to PJP for sharing her method. Feeling embarrassed by mine now.

I am lucky enough to see all the ATCs every month and I know everybody’s work is interesting, inventive and inspiring.

Mine was made from ancient stash lol
Backing paper from a huge stash I bought from I think crafters companion
Looking back it was great value compare to prices now
It had assorted papers ,pearl ,pattered and textures
    In 12x12 a4 a5 8x8 and a6
All the embellishments were purchased off a previous member who was selling of her stash in lots
Lace was from a old pair of knickers I grew out of

Just kidding it was in a lot of haberdashery bits from a warehouse clearance

You don't have to be as mad as a box of frogs to be here but it helps:mysmilie_13:

The hearts on mine are 'skins' which is the drips from some paint pours I have been doing. you peel the paint off a plastic sheet underneath the canvas. i've never tried to die cut them before but they did well. The butterflies are crystal texture paste through a Crafters Companion stencil.

That just made me laugh out loud. Good thing I didn't have a mouthful of liquid - I'd have spat it all over the computer.

No reason why you shouldn't recycle knicker lace - I certainly cut the ribbon hanging loops out of (e.g.) T shirts when I buy them and keep them to use in crafting.

Oh wow, that's brilliant. Are you enjoying paint pouring? I think I'd love it but I've resisted because what would I do with the pieces once made? There's a limit to how many I could hang in the house and I don't think many people I know would appreciate them as presents. If you have people you can gift them to, or maybe even sell them, that would be brilliant. Once lockdown is over (if ever) then I'll look to do a class on paint pouring, I think, so I'd come home with one or two pieces and that would be sufficient.

The crystal texture paste is really lovely.

    Me too
And the ribbon that you get round towels or dressing gowns
Also the brown paper you get in Amazon boxes
    Always comes in useful

Back in the day before we had this site their was someone over on the sister site
who used the netting from her husbands and sons old swim shorts in her card making
think that is taking it too far
I’d only use a string vest lol wonder do they still sell them??
