February 2021 ATC Swap Thanks and Photos

All posted out today.
Mitzi made this ‘Bugs and Kisses’ . The background is beautiful and I like the faux border in black. The bug’s is shiny, like glass and looks like he’s a specimen. Such a great idea.
Victoria has made ‘Sweet Kisses’ The hearts like Mitzi’s bug , are like red glass, so effective. There is one word ringed on the book page background -marriage. So well chosen!

‘Love to Love’ by PJP has some 3D ‘lip’ bunting on an embossed kisses background with two hearts revealing the word love on each of them. The embossed background is a genius touch.
LJ’s ‘Kiss and Lips’ is on an embossed pearl background with borders of hearts and individual hearts in red and gold surrounding the noughts and Crosses. A really clever use of hearts for the noughts and a delicate gold lip right in the centre.

I am also very lucky to have the sketch that Borderline used for her ATCs which arrived with them. That piece of design history will be going in my 2021 ATC Album too , plus Mitzi’s postcard which tells me how and with what she has made her ATCs.

Wow ladies you're really getting the hang of ATCs!!! My 5 beauties arrived today and I can't stop looking at them - even Mitzi's bug LOL!
First up is Borderline's K.I.S.S.I.N.G. I love the stamp edging and I think you've stamped the 2 faces then gone around the outline with glue and used foil/gilding flakes. If I've got that wrong please let me know how it was done.


Next is Little Jan's Kiss and Lips. There's some heart tiles, a bit of stitching around the Xs and peel offs around the outside.


Mitzi's Bugs and Kisses. The back ground is one of Mitzi's arty creations that she's well known for now. And the bug, although creepy, is beautifully shiny - heat embossed maybe?


Pink Pig has gone with Cupid's Arrow. Beautifully designed with loads of hearts in various forms and sizes. All the red cardstock is very sparkly-and the Love sentiment is a 'fake' Dymo but looks very realistic.


And finally Victoria's Sweet Kisses and it really is sweet. When closed the couple are kissing and then the ATC opens up to reveal more hearts that are very shiny. I'm sure I have the embossing folder that's been used to emboss the white card.



Pink Pig commented on the embossed background on my own ATCs. It's actually a cross stitch design embossing folder that I've then run a black ink pad over to pick up the stitches/kisses.

Yes my love bug (it has a heart on its thorax) was heat embossed using clear powder on black card. The green is metallic watercolour paint.

They’re great! How do you do it?

I use Postimages. When I upload them to Postimages I have it set to 'Do not resize my images'. When I click on 'share' I choose the ' Hotlink for forums' and the photos just appear in the forum at this size!
