Default Lockdown Challenge 4 - July

Lockdown is gradually being eased but as there is some interest in continuing this challenge, we’ll go for another month.

It is not intended to replace the card and ATC swaps; please support them if you can.

    Rules:

    1. Make any art or craft project on the theme(s) below. This might be a card, an art journal page, a quilt, a cross-stitched ornament, crochet item, home decor piece etc. It can be for any purpose; you do not have to send it to anyone on the forum.

    2. Post a picture of it on this thread for us all to admire

    3. The challenge runs for the month of July. Post as many entries as you like.

    THEME(S)

    * Music - interpret this however you like e.g. song lyrics, musical notes in a background paper, a musical instrument
    OR
    * The colours red or pink
    OR
    * Use lace, yarn or fabric

You can combine the themes or just use one of them.

I made this card for a friends husband. The background paper is from a Kanban Male Background CD bought years ago from QVC. The decoupage topper is from a CD The Best of La Pashe. Used my Cameo 3 for print & cut of the decoupaged topper and for printing out the music paper for the background and the insert. Sorry the silver foiling on the Spellbinder's tag is not very clear.

I just finished this one too. It does have some pink in the backing paper (from C&C club gift) and one butterfly. I foiled the peacock with my Cameo 3 then cut out using the print & cut settings. The butterflies are from a cut & foil die. I scanned the background into my computer and used it to make the insert with the Studio software.

I've gone down the 'pink and lace' options. It's for a 66th wedding anniversary.

I love the Rock n Roll card Dax - that would be great for one of my brothers as he loves going to live music gigs. I wouldn't make it for him though as I always made a Welsh themed card for him and he looks forward to receiving them and would be disappointed if it wasn't a Welsh one! He moved to Shropshire as a child and has lived there ever since - he's 54 this year. He's looking forward to retiring and then hoping to persuade his wife (who's Scottish) to move to Wales.

Edited to change name as pointed out by Dax LOL!

    Gorgeous Anniversary Card Pyjama Princess.

I can't see a Rock and Roll card from Deefers.

I hope this might come in under the 'red' category.

It's for a challenge using the theme of 'Pets'. I like to something a bit different every time and it's years since I last made a penny slider.

Very clever Borderline. I've never made a penny slider.
