    Default September ATC Swap

The theme for September is the adjective lush.
a:growing vigorously especially with luxuriant foliage lush grass
b:lavishly productive: such asa: growing vigorously especially with luxuriant foliage lush grass

I know lack of rain in the South might have left your area not thriving so apologies if that’s the case but here in Lancashire at this time of year it is definitely lush . It could be a memory of a lush tropical destination. Whatever the adjective conjours up for you!
Two ATCs to be with me by September 27th 2022.
    Everyone welcome to join in.

Thanks PinkPig. I keep hearing that word in a Welsh accent because of Gavin and Stacey! But I like it.

You don't have to be as mad as a box of frogs to be here but it helps:mysmilie_13:

Like LJ I'll have to have a think before committing. I have severe brain fog at the moment probably caused by having not been well.

    Lush can also mean:
It's someone who drinks a lot and enjoys drinking a lot---not necessarily an alcoholic, but someone whose drinking is noticeable. It can be used teasingly or as an insult, but even if someone teases you (or whoever), there's probably some truth in it, and it probably means you're overdoing the alcohol.

Typically used by the Welsh to describe something that's bloody lovely! It can be applied to most situations:

P1) What did you have for breakfast?
P2) Cheese on toast - It was LUSH!

That’s why I stressed the adjective definition rather than the noun PJP.

I'll think about it too. We don't use the word in this part of Wales!

It could be down to my Covid brain fog but I really don’t know how to interpret the theme - unless you want photos of my lawn before the guys come to cut it!

Tropical paradise with beautiful birds with breathtaking plumage, a landscape with fruit laden trees and other rich produce, a jungle with a spotted leopard or striped tiger lurking in the foliage - some of the images it conjures up for me PJP.
